Unit 10 in Focus on Grammar 3 deals with “Have you ever_____?” and how to answer those questions. I created a fun activity that forces students to get out of their seats and communicate with each other. With this handout, students run around the room and try to find students who have done one of these activities before. For example, “Have you ever been to the Golden Gate Bridge?” If the student asked responds yes, the person asking writes down their name. I thought a prize might be good for someone who fills out the entire sheet. With a big class make sure to only allow them to write down one student’s name for each question that is a yes response.

Edits must be made to this handout. The course I specifically made it for had a mix or Spanish, Ukrainian, and Middle Eastern students. This allowed students to learn about other cultures or talk about their culture. I would participate, which allows me one-on-one time to check for comprehension.
